Iceland: Fire, Ice & Northern Wonder

A Cruise Journey Through Earth’s Most Mysterious Landscapes

July 24 – August 3, 2026

Join me, Bradley Walters, on an unforgettable journey to Iceland, a land where fire and ice coexist in breathtaking harmony. From thundering waterfalls and steaming geothermal fields to dramatic fjords and vibrant Nordic culture, this expertly curated itinerary blends awe-inspiring scenery with the refined comfort of Celebrity Cruises and the ease of “Travelling With Bradley”.

You will sail aboard the Celebrity Silhouette, a ship that underwent a major “Celebrity Revolution” refurbishment in early 2020. This transformation introduced Edge-class design elements throughout the vessel, including refreshed staterooms with contemporary décor, new venues, and beautifully updated public spaces. With ongoing meticulous upkeep, the Silhouette offers a modern, stylish, and relaxed atmosphere – an exceptional home base for exploring Iceland’s wild and unforgettable landscapes.

Iceland is one of the world’s most captivating destinations, and summer is its most magical season – long daylight hours, lush green landscapes, and dramatic scenery at every turn. This journey offers an exceptional way to experience Iceland.

Space on this Travel With Bradley experience is limited and demand for Iceland continues to grow. I encourage you to reserve early to secure your reservation.

I look forward to welcoming you to Iceland.

SEYÐISFJÖRÐUR, ICELAND

Seyðisfjörður is a charming and eclectic town nestled at the end of a deep fjord in eastern Iceland. Surrounded by cascading waterfalls, volcanic peaks, and lush summer landscapes dotted with purple lupins, this former herring-fishing hub is now known for its vibrant arts community. As you stroll past colourful wooden homes and walk along the famous rainbow-painted street leading to the picturesque blue church, you’ll feel the creative spirit of the town. Explore Icelandic art and culture, trek to the nearby Gufufoss Waterfall, or wander along the shoreline in search of seals and porpoises in the crisp Nordic air.

AKUREYRI, ICELAND

Akureyri, affectionately known as the Capital of North Iceland, is the country’s second-largest city and one of its most important ports. Despite its size, Akureyri retains a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, complemented by a lively café scene. The city’s renowned Botanical Gardens showcase an impressive collection of high-latitude plants and are well worth a visit. Celebrity offers a number of optional shore excursions that you will want to purchase. Possibly explore the ancient lava formations of Dimmuborgir, experience the geothermal landscapes of Námafjall with its bubbling mud pools and hissing fumaroles, or simply enjoy the dramatic fjords, waterfalls, and rich folk culture that define this remarkable region.

Originally established as a 16th-century trading post, the town experienced significant growth in the 19th century during the salt-fish boom, an industry that remains central to the local economy today. Exploring Ísafjörður offers insight into Iceland’s maritime heritage while immersing you in one of its most unspoiled landscapes.
