I genuinely believe that this is an “Ultimate” South Pacific Journey. Most importantly, you will see this part of the world at a relaxed pace. I’ve traveled to the South Pacific several times, both by land and sea. It’s exhausting when you travel by land after many days of constantly moving from hotel to hotel. This is why I feel a cruise is the best way to see this part of the world. A cruise ship is a floating home away from home where you can unpack your luggage and enjoy privacy. The delicious food served on board the luxurious cruise ship is what we are used to eating in North America, and the quality is better than what typically is offered on land tours. You are not touring every single day while on this cruise. You will look forward to relaxing sea days – this provides a “well-deserved” break from touring. We are sailing on the beautiful Celebrity Eclipse, where the classic beverage package and WIFI is included. You’ll be comfortable in your balcony stateroom. The Celebrity Eclipse is not so big that it’s overwhelming but not so small, so there is plenty to explore. It has a good selection of activities, the entertainment is high quality, and the staterooms are more significant than the industry average. The South Pacific is a sought-after destination, so this cruise will sell out months in advance. This is a once-in-a-lifetime journey that you should experience.

Uplift your spirit in the Land of Down Under.

Day 4

Tuesday, March 14
Australian cuisine is all about quality ingredients, the people who produce them, and the incredible landscapes in which they’re shared. This morning we visit Broken Bay Pearl Farm, where you will discover the untold story of the Australian Pearl. It’s a story spanning many generations, bridging cultural divides, and overcoming ever-changing environmental factors. After the tour, we continue to the famous Hunter Valley for a wine theatre experience and wine tasting, followed by a luncheon. Return to the city and freshen up for dinner.

Day 5

Wednesday, March 15
Today we board the award-winning Celebrity Eclipse for a sailing visiting beautiful New Zealand. Across New Zealand, you can find everything from an untamed wilderness to a rich culture. Day 8

 Saturday, March 18
We will spend the day cruising through these famous Sounds. As we sail into the narrow fjord of the Milford Sound, even your massive ship seems to shrink compared to the towering cliffs topped by lush mountain terrain. See sheer rock faces rising 1200 meters from the sea in this wildlife paradise with seals, penguins, and dolphins patrolling the water. Milford Sound is one of the wettest places in New Zealand, however the rain creates stunning temporary waterfalls. With thousands of visitors every year, Milford Sound is justifiably the most famous destination in New Zealand.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 9

Sunday, March 19
Dunedin – were it not for the absence of the Scottish brogue, you might think you’d landed in Edinburgh. The scenery and architecture borrow heavily from Scotland – absolutely beautiful!
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 12

Wednesday, March 22
Discover Art Deco architecture, an alluring seaside town, and some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wineries. This is home to the most excellent density of Art Deco buildings globally. Consider relaxing at a cafe in Napier, taking in the ambiance of another era.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 13

Thursday, March 23
Poised at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound in Marlborough, this picturesque seaside town is home to buzzing cafes and specialty shops. Day 14-15

Friday – Saturday, March 24 – 25
Experience the big wide-open heart of the ocean with nothing on the horizon but the sun and stars. A cruise ship is like a floating resort; everything you could want is available. Feel like lounging the day away by the pool; you can do that. How about a few hands of blackjack? You can do that too. Afternoon cocktails – they are available too.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 16

Sunday, March 26
This morning we disembark the Celebrity Eclipse. Welcome back to Sydney! Get ready for another journey highlight – we’ll get to see inside the world’s most recognized sails – The Sydney Opera House. Experience this miracle of architecture and engineering. Once you’ve visited areas off-limits to the general public and captured photographs from rare vantage points inside the majestic Sydney Opera House, you’ll realize that you’re only getting half the story from outside. After a leisurely luncheon, you’ll check into the hotel. Another journey highlight is tonight when you see the sights of Sydney from the harbour bay on a Captain Cook dinner cruise. The views don’t get more waterfront than this!
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)
