For those that seek a unique journey, this is it.  I’ve sailed to the Earth’s southernmost continent, underlying the South Pole a number of times and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you cannot repeat anywhere else.  There are no permanent residents here, but anywhere from 1,000-5,000 people reside throughout the year at research camps.  On one hand, this itinerary features cities every bit as cosmopolitan as north of the Equator, then there is the wild and untamed side, with lush rain forests and staggering mountain peaks that reach high into the sky.

To get the most out of this exotic and diverse destination, I feel that a cruise with Celebrity is the best option.  You’ll be pleased that I’ve included BALCONY staterooms, the Celebrity classic BEVERAGE PACKAGE and WIFI.

Don’t wait to book this journey.  Due to high demand group space is very difficult to secure and I understand this departure is close to sold out.  There are only a few sailings a year to Antarctica and of course they are weather dependent.  South America is a living mosaic of inviting people, natural wonder, and unforgettable moments.

Join me on this adventure of a lifetime.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 7

Wednesday, January 18
Ushuaia takes advantage of its end-of-the-world status as it has long been described as the southernmost city in the world.  While there are settlements farther south, Ushuaia is the only one with a significant population.  The snow-capped Andes provide a stunning backdrop.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 8

Thursday, January 19
The Captain of the Infinity will do the best to sail close to this famous cape and its striking black cliffs.  Horn Island, where the famous cape farms its southernmost headland, is just 8km long.  This is the most isolated place in the Americas.  Cape Horn marks the northern boundary of the Drake Passage.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 9

Friday, January 20
Breathe in the exhilarating air.  Today we cruise to the far reaches of the world.  Take in the mesmerizing sights of massive ice flows and experience wildlife that inhabits the great white South Pole, humpback whales, waddling penguins, leopard seals and more.  The scenery is like no other that you have seen – stunning!  You are certain to leave with amazing memories, and pictures.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 10

Saturday, January 21
The captain will sail around ice-covered and mountainous, Elephant Island.  Expect to see icebergs floating by.  The wildlife sightings are typically tremendous too.  Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 11

Sunday, January 22
Spend the day relaxing on board the Celebrity Infinity.  You’re on vacation so enjoy a little peace and quiet.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 12

Monday, January 23
Port Stanley is the capital of the Falkland Islands.  I highly recommend you reserve this cruise EARLY, especially if you wish to book an excursion to see the King Penguins.  It’s a lengthy and very bumpy ride to and from Volunteer Point buts it’s one of the best excursions I have ever taken!  Space is very limited and will sell out many months before sailing.  You can also opt for a much less adventurous journey and see the Magellan penguins.  For those looking for a more relaxing day I suggest you stroll around Port Stanley and commune with the roughly 2,000 intrepid souls who call this remote former whaling outpost home.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 13

Tuesday, January 24
Getting there is half the fun!  Take part in some of the wonderful activities on board or unwind in the ocean breeze.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 14

Wednesday, January 25
Puerto Madryn is Patagonia’s star destination for marine wildlife watching.  Today many cruise passengers will visit the penguin rookery or Peninsula Valdez to see the sea lions.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 15

Thursday, January 26
Take a break from the sun and join me in the dining room for lunch.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 16

Friday, January 27
Montevideo is a vibrant, eclectic place with a rich cultural life.  I highly recommend that you visit Mercado del Puerto in Old Town where you will be tempted to try some barbecued delicacies and purchase souvenirs in the tourist shops and galleries.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 17

Saturday, January 28
After we say farewell to the wonderful staff on the Celebrity Eclipse, we’ll enjoy a city tour to discover the magic of Argentina’s capital city.  Buenos Aires companies’ European grandeur with Latin passion.  The architectural styles reveal a strong Spanish Colonial influence.  Many feel the city resembles Paris with boulevards lined with palatial mansions.  We’ll visit the impressive Recoleta Cemetery to see its valuable works of art and Evita’s tomb.  Enjoy a buffet luncheon before continuing to the airport for our flight back to Toronto.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L)

Day 18

Sunday, January 29
Welcome back to Canada. After collecting your luggage we’ll transfer to the Toronto Airport Hotel for a one-night stay. Thanks for “Travelling With Bradley”
